About Me

A Clean House Is a Healthy House

My mother always kept a very clean house, so when she began neglecting her house cleaning, I knew something was wrong. She told me that her arthritis was making it tough for her to clean, but that she "didn't care" and that she would just "live with the dirt." I offered to clean her house many times, but she always told me no and that the dirt didn't bother her. When I noticed her sneezing from the dust in her home one day, I decided to research the health effects of a dirty house and print it all off to show her. After I left the papers with her overnight, she then let me hire a cleaning service to clean her house! I know there are others out there in a similar situation, so I want to share my research and cleaning tips with anyone who needs them!

Have An Odor Problem In Your Home? Fix It With Carpet Cleaning Service

When you walk into your house, there are a few things that will determine your satisfaction. It may be attractive because you have remodeled the home in a way that suits your preferred look. But, this is not the only sense that you will be using when you walk through the front door. It is inevitable for you to smell the air, and the last thing that you want to happen is for you to be greeted with an unpleasant aroma. If this happens, you should consider carpet cleaning services to fix the issue.

Clean All the Carpeting

A huge portion of the smell in your home could come from the dirtiness. It may not be easy to tell how dirty your carpet is because of its color and the fact that carpet fibers are great at hiding dirt. When you vacuum, you might notice a difference in how your home smells, but it may not be substantial enough to think that carpet cleaning itself could end up eliminate most or the entirety of the problem. But, if you have clean walls and have given all the furniture in your home a thorough cleaning, the carpet is one of the only other things inside the house that can hold onto scents and leave a poor, lingering odor.

Get Odor Removal

Aside from standard cleaning, you will want to pay a carpet cleaning company for odor removal. It is important to get this service throughout the entire house as a way to eliminate potential smells. The professionals will likely focus on the primary areas for scents to get through into the home. This includes areas such as the front entrance, hallways, and directly outside of the kitchen and all bathrooms.

Ask About the Odors

A carpet cleaner who does an odor removal service will usually just go through the entire house. But, you should make it clear that you have a specific problem as they may have some valuable information. If you let them know where you are able to smell the unwanted scent the most, they can take a further look at this area in an attempt to determine where the smell is coming from and if a more focused approach is necessary. They may want to use stronger cleaning supplies to remove the scent from the affected area.

Carpet cleaning services will not only make your carpet look new, but can also eliminate strong odors.
